Random Thoughts 1/13/10
Here are a few things that have crossed my mind over the past few days.
Is it just me, or are the plots to Avatar and The Air Up There very similar? In Avatar, Jake Sully travels to Pandora where he tries to adjust to living with the Na'vi, and must pass certain tests to become accepted by the tribe. In The Air Up There, Jimmy Dolan travels to Africa where he lives with an African tribe and must learn life lessons and pass certain tests to become accepted by the tribe.
Of course along the same lines, Dude, Where's My Car is the same premise as The Hangover. In Dude, Where's My Car, Jesse and Chester awake from a hangover trying to find the car. In The Hangover, Phil, Stu, and Alan awake from a hangover and try to find their car, and their friend Doug.
